Who we are

The data controller is Matthew Houghton (sole trader, trading as Northpine Digital), 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. To contact us about your data, use the support form or write to the address above.

What the support form collects

Your name, email address, the product you're asking about, your subject and your message, plus the date and time you sent it. To stop spam, we briefly keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, which can't be turned back into the address, and delete it automatically within 2 hours. We don't store your IP address itself.

Why we use it

Only to read and reply to your support request, and to keep a record of it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: answering the questions you send us.

No marketing

We never add you to a mailing list or send marketing because you used the support form.

Where it's stored and who sees it

Requests are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website. Only we, and the tools we use to answer support requests, can read them. We don't sell or share your details.

How long we keep it

We keep support requests for 12 months from when you send them, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Send a request through the support form. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Our products have their own privacy notices: ClaimMinder and SideLedger.
